Rather than adding FOR loops to the language, I personally think it
would be more in line with the lua philosophy to provide a hygienic
macro system, along the lines of scheme or dylan. Then, any time
somebody wants a new control structure they can just write it
themselves. IMHO, this is one of the only barriers left in making Lua
a *truly* extensible extension language. what do others think?
