We are planning to write an article on the lessons on portability learned
in writing Lua as 100% ANSI C. (One of the lessons is that there's no such thing
as far as compilers are concerned.)
We would like to hear your comments and stories about compiling Lua in "strange"
platforms and "strange" compilers, how much had to be changed in Lua, how much
was a compiler's limitation, etc. Stories about not-so-strange platforms and
compilers are ok too of course.
Please send them directly to us at lua@tecgraf.puc-rio.br or to the list,
if you feel it's something of wider interest.
Thanks.
