The presentation looks really nice.  As a newbie to both Lua and
harnessing scripting languages, I think a brief section with a "case
study" of using Lua as a scripting language will help to give people
context.  Maybe use it as an introduction so that there's a framework in
which to discuss the language features.  This is fairly important to
people that aren't familiar with language design and/or scripting
language integration.
