I agree. Let's use "<>" (just like Basic).
The "!=" comes from a language that use "!" to mean 'not'. Lua DOESN'T use
that so "!" (and similarly "~") are essentially meaningless add ons.
The old Basic notation of "<>" is clear, and and uses no additional symbols.
