I'll look into it.  I'm currently doing large rejigging of my Aranha
binding for libgd2.  One of the main issues is that gd's API is quite
the most ugly thing I've come across after MusicBrainz', and I keep
trying to expose something a little nicer to Lua.

I think in the end I'll just bind it raw to Lua, and then do some
support functions that stop it being quite so foul.
