2) Probably same fate for Unix.3) Personally, I opted for the modern typographic convention of writing pronounceable acronyms like a real word: Unesco, Ascii, but HTML, SVG, etc. Dropped G.N.U. style...
4) Perhaps we should then make a Lua (recursive?) acronym, so this would be true too. I am not too good at this kind of stuff. Let's shot: "Lua is unusually attractive"...
