Luasocket on win32 in the real world.

Hi!

I'm wondering... has anyone widely deployed a
luasocket2beta2-using app on win32, with success
across windows flavours?

I'm encountering another lethal issue specific to another
version of windows (2000SP4), in addition to my mysterious
win98 crash-upon-dns-failure.  Knowing whether or not other
people were seeing such mishaps out in the real world would
be a big clue as to whether my problems are my own fault!
