that's exactly why i don't want the venv().  if i need truly separate web 
apps, it would be easier to use another launcher instance, on another apache 
config entry.

i asked about the 'single venv()' because i thought maybe CGILua expects a 
venv environment.

i still haven't touched one line of code...  fingers itching, but just too 
much work on day-job :-(
