In regular make at least you can have multiple rules for a given target,
as long as only one of them defines a command.
{src}.c{$(WKDIR)}.obj::
$(CC) $(CFLAGS) /c $<
{$(WKDIR)}.obj: lua.h luaconf.h lapi.h lobject.h llimits.h ldebug.h \
lstate.h ltm.h lzio.h lmem.h ldo.h lfunc.h lgc.h lstring.h ltable.h \
lundump.h lvm.h
I think this should work with nmake. If it doesn't, shame on it.
