Token filters in Lua 5.2?

Hello,

Can we count on token filters being included in the hypothetical Lua
5.2 version?
I like the idea a lot - I'd like to use it for things like removing
asserts from release code, or replacing some const table lookups with
the literal value from the table.

We'd probably apply the patch anyway, but I'd much prefer having an
unpatched version of Lua in the source tree.
