I've filled out a number of the questions that were on the application
page, but it would help to get some other eyes from the community, as
well as other people who are a bit closer to the "overseeing body" to
answer some of the questions.  I've also posted one of the specific
projects I'm interested in mentoring.

We really shoudn't sit on this and we should plan to have the
application submitted prior to the deadline to ensure that we're
considered.
