Will fix for next release; this will not stop you from 
using it, though (and giving performance results).

To run performance tests, simply:
    make perftest-plain
    make perftest-double
    make perftest-float
    (make perftest-complex)

    make tlife-plain
    make tlife-double
    make tlife-float
    (make tlife-complex)

Remember to include the machine & OS type (see 
perftest.txt for samples).
