Thank you for your quick response.
I also ran quickluatour.lua from SciTE, and I had many problems there as well.
First off, line 494 (os.execute("cls")) does not clear the terminal pane.
Second, there seems to be many tyops like "print(address.StreeNumber, address["AprNumber"])".
Third, there are all kinds of nonsense colors in the terminal pane.
Fourth, when it gets to the GUI app, it just hangs.
When I used to work at SGI, when the new kernel was stable enough for general use, we would make a "dogfood" release. Such a release was then deployed to all employees and we had to use it, to encourage fixing the bugs. I think maybe you need to eat your own SciTE dogfood. :-)
