Well, text editors have two rather separate uses - viewing the contents
of files and editing them. For the former it is pleasant not to have
to use the keyboard.
But I agree with Enrico's complaints that mice can give you RSI.
The ideal input device would be rings worn on the fingers
that signal by BlueTooth what gestures you are making.

on scripting with SciTE.
