At my level of Windows knowledge, I appreciate this package. I furthermore
believe this allows exposure to a larger user segment since tools and
utilities written in Lua could be more easily distributed to the many
non-programmers who use Windows. It simply increases the potential audience
of Lua.
I think this is just the nature of an all inclusive install. Python is not an all inclusive install. If you want wxPython it is another 9.21MB. If you want OpenGL support that is another MB. Plus if you wanted docs and examples that is another download. So keep that in mind when thinking about size. I am not going to be shamed by Python. But that is me. Plus we have examples and documentation for nearly all libraries.
