[ANN] bitlib deprecated in favour of bitop

I hereby deprecate bitlib (http://luaforge.net/projects/bitlib).
Please use bitop (http://bitop.luajit.org/) instead. I have shut down
all features of the LuaForge site except for the file releases and SCM
(and of course I will leave those indefinitely, so that existing users
can still get at the code). I have also made a final release,
announced separately, which cleans up the build system.

Since bitop is pretty much backwards compatible with bitlib, and is
now in Debian and Ubuntu, at least, it's a recommended upgrade from
bitlib as well as a replacement.

Thanks to bitop's authors for making my labours redundant. It's such a
good feeling!
