And heaps of irrelevant citations of previous threads in random order grow in the mailing list. That's why I dislike top-posting: lot of people just let the e-mail client to quote the previous message(s) and don't even glance at the result, hurrying to type their little message on top. At least, when you bottom-post (or interleave answers), you have to look at what you quote (or at least at scrolling through it) and if you are not lazy/in a hurry, you can cut out parts irrelevant to your answer.
Sorry for a semi-off topic rambling... (not aimed at anyone in particular, just roughly half the e-mail users, although fortunately the percentage is much lower in this list!).
