Hello Experts,

LUA is a great language, its a language where i can think in my mind and trans-code it in to binary, fast/rapid/quickly. Its very reliable, thats the reason i am here. There is no doubt about that.

I am not trying to explain BAD of LUA here, no reason of doing it, nobody will get anything out of it, its simply a discussion what problem i am facing with Audio and what Lua can do for this. But i think i am moving to C++, only for this specific part to get working.

But the LACK of LUA seems very frustrating related to third party libraries. Because LUA it self is a language it has nothing to do with other libraries. But third party libraries seal or trade marks are very confusing!!! which mention "MurgaLUA or XYZ powered by LUA", after trying with those, when you reach to some advanced level it shows libraries are not working nor anyone is responsible, which is very frustrating for example: ProteaAudio for Lua binding, its a nightmare, no body is available for this. With ZEND Framework you have someone responsible for each Adapters, which is good for further development or discussion.

As a developer, i always faced problem with Audio, its like no body care, let it as it is!!. Even JAVA largest dragon community, does not provide that much freedom for Audio resources. It was never easy to have 48/96/192 Khz encoding or decoding audio sample, nor it was easy to have 32 Bit transmission over IP at-least to do a serious or at-least a fun project.

So, i took that risk and plan to start writing one with smile face, after several months hammering with all resources, now it became a giant issue, because i thought ProteaAudio was base libraries of LUA, but alas its not.

Cheers

Thanks & Regards
Shamun
