Thanks. I did look at Melissa at the time. Unfortunately I needed much
more thorough bindings to gateway between XMPP and remote protocols
the way e.g. Spectrum does (think avatars, file transfers, the lot).
It's a full-time project in itself, so I'm fairly glad I didn't end up
writing and having to maintain it :)
