IT'S A FUCKING LUA OS.
WE ARE MAKING A LUA OS.
Hmm... It might just be my references that are obscured, but so far your project does not fall within a "Operating System", from my perspective you are creating a "Application Server". And I do think, that the dependencies on Java also falls into the Application server category.

But for me a, "Lua OS"  is something that I can install on a raw piece of hardware, not something I run on the top of other OS's.

+1 in my eyes, unfortunately. Although maybe there's some idea that it'll start from the "middleground" OS infrastructure, leveraging Java for the rest, and later expanding towards low-level and hardware? or something?

As of the words quoted by Stefan etc., I choose not to get involved. If that'll become trolling, better not feed; if it's an accident, I hope to forget ASAP.
