FWIW, if I have to choose between Toulouse and US, I would most likely
choose Toulouse. (Anyway, regardless of off-topic politics, I'm not
sure that I want to endure a flight to US and back.)
It is not a very good thing to split the community this badly though, I think.
If Europe event could be joined with US one somehow... Say, 2 days of
video-translations from US, then 2 days vice-versa... But this
probably is too hard to do logistically, and, anyway, events are not
immediately one after another. Ah, dreams, dreams...
