When I write LPEG code, I think of it like I'm doing a recursive-
descent parser, something to which LPEG maps pretty well.
RD parsers are generally pretty easy to write and familiar to many
programmers; LPEG just sort of adds a bunch of specialized tools that
make using it much more convenient than doing the same thing by hand.
