1) I never said I have "a lot of experince" buy yes I have good programming experince even if you dispute that.

 

2) I code for a living and I'm not a "Linguist"; I code Assembler, C, C++, Java and the like and I do not need Forth, Standard ML nor Lisp for understanding LUA, when LUA is coded by C coders and when ther's a lot of effort (as I said before) for making the LUA-C/C++ marriage a happy one...

 

if you need Forth, Standard ML or Lisp for undertanding LUA go for it but do not make me waste my time on that...

It's Lua, a word, not LUA.

You say you have a lot of programming experience, but I dispute that.
You seem to have used only languages what were inspired by C (C++,
Java, _javascript_ etc.). Try some Forth, Standard ML or Lisp.
