I'm currently trying to add a proper iOS and android port of Luvit with GL bindings baked in.  Also Codea is a really fun iOS app that lets you develop iOS games *on* the ipad using lua.

Can Lua also be used with  the HTML5-based toolkits (e.g. Phonegap, ...)
