Yup, my bad. I just tried with wget and it works fine. It seems like
the server is on-the-fly gzipping an already gzipped file, which my
browser then automatically unzips according to the headers:
Content-Encoding:gzip
Content-Length:31874
Content-Type:application/x-tar
