Of course, not in C-like languages, for the reason stated by Marc. :-)
÷ is nice, but hard to type. We have already some users grumbling against ~...
Scala made the choice to allow Unicode operators, but they can be problematic on some old
systems, some editors, etc.
Having ÷ in an expression might look odd... (and might look different in non-ISO8859-1
code pages!).
