Seconded. newproxy() was useful, but I wish instead we had a 'buffer'
library similar to the one in node.js -- just something simple. prune
the api a bit. string mascuerades as its own data type but I wish it
were "subclassed" from a buffer/mutable type that was standardized
upstream.
