interfacing with R from Lua

Does anyone know of a library other than SciLua's Rclient that connects R and Lua? Or let's put it this way, something that does that without dependencies on LuaJIT? Unfortunately, R is a very poor keyword for googling, so I cannot seem to find anything except SciLua and a bunch of irrelevant pages.
