Thanks, Marc. I didn't get far with the German but did look at
Ardour's scripting documentation. The API is not so user-friendly for
lay users, in my opinion, because the documentation is so thin. But it
comes with a huge number of example scripts, so maybe not so difficult
in that light.

I've added Ardous to the queue for the Where Lua Is Used page.
