I've just gone through and tweaked the page a bit. In particular, I've
removed long-term broken links to the archive page, and mentioned 5.0.

It might be a good idea either to have separate pages for Lua 4.0 and 5.0,
or to have some sort of soft deadline for migrating projects to 5.0, after
which links will start being archived. Presumably some of the projects
mentioned there have already been updated?

If a lot of people carry on using 4.0, then a 4.0 page would be a good
thing. Otherwise, why not encourage package authors (ahem, such as
myself!) to update?
