- Subject: LuaSocket API stability

I'd like to use LuaSocket in my application, as it seems to be the de facto
standard way of doing networking from Lua. However, I've noticed that the
beta 1 API is totally different from the beta 2 API. Does anyone know if the
API is liable to change again?
(I got bitten by this because Debian's LuaSocket package is only beta 1. It
took me a long time before I could work out why none of the example programs
appeared to make sense, according to the beta 2 documentation on the web
site...)
