Did it really change that much from beta1 to beta2? I change the API
when I believe it is a worthy improvement. As time goes by, I will
probably change it less and less.
Still, new functionality sometimes demand changes. There are just two
changes scheduled to happen in the long run.
One is related to the timeout control, which my change to simpler and
more useful. The other is related to the way you create sockets of
different types. Mike suggested something I didn't like that much, but
it's on the back of my head.
These changes are probably not going to happen until next March or so.
