Seems like my pause was actually being caused by printf() on the PS2... Not
the fastest operation in the world... Sometimes it causes a pause,
sometimes it doesn't.
Joy. Time for some on-screen printing, me thinks.

Yes, that's what I do, though it's not obvious without some
poking that that's the right thing to do.

Sorry, I meant USE_DLL / USE_DLOPEN.
