lua-l turns 9

The Lua mailing list was created nine years ago, on Fev 20th, 1997.

The first message after Roberto's test messages was by Terry Bayne,
who is still a lua-l regular.

The traffic on lua-l has been increasing in the last few years, as can
be seen in http://www.lua.org/lua-l-stats.html but the signal-to-noise
ratio remains high.

Lua-l has always been very friendly and welcoming, and full of good
advice from many people who generously share their expertise with the
whole community despite not being part of the Lua team. I'm sure it'll
go on like that.

Thank you all! Special thanks to Conectiva and Gustavo Niemeyer for hosting
lua-l in their server.
