Is Nodir Temirhodzhaev or any other luaber users on this list?

luaber0.3, available only as a download from the wiki

doesn't build as a module, and doesn't have any examples of using it
in pure lua (its tests are implemented in C which then calls lua, I
assume thats because the library was used in some kind of embedded
context).

Anyhow, we have patches, and want to know how to get them upstream.
