The previous versions of luainterface (about 1.5 I think) have a
regular C loader DLL which starts the .NET VM. (This is why we use
this version in Lua for Windows, since it can be loaded from regular
Lua).

That loader might give you some ideas, although my .NET knowledge is
too primitive/rusty to give any more help...
