FWIW merging Liam's changes is on my immediate (this week) todo list.
And as I've written here multiple times already, I don't consider my
repository a fork. As soon as the changes are merged into LuaSocket
and released then I'll probably take the repo down. It was just so
that a group of us could collaborate on IPv6 support (and a couple of
bug fixes sneaked in).
