Dirk, who 50 years ago wrote (in Fortran, alas) a compiler for the IBM 1620
that took a table of pairs starting C',0.25;G,0.125;G,0.125,;F#,0.25;G,0.25;
and generated machine code that when executed would make a portable
radio placed on top of the CPU play Schubert's Military March.
